  • Overview

    Fulcrum is seeking a Future Operations Spt SME to support our customer. 


    The contractor supports the J35 Future Operations Division that provides Commander, United States Special Operations Command (CDRUSSOCOM) with future operations, crisis action and compartmented contingency planning to inform senior leader decision-making and support GCC/TSOC SOF specific planning requirements. These SMES lead USSOCOM global synchronization of DOD’s transregional C-VEO and CWMD efforts by designing, and leading planning efforts and synchronization venues. Lead the planning, development and integration of new capabilities in support of future and current operations.


    Contractor will support: 

    • Analysis of Department of Defense (DOD) operations, plans, and strategies 
    • Assessment of effectiveness for Geographic Combatant Command’s (GCC) overseas contingency plans 
    • Counter-Terrorism (CT) and Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (C-WMD) 
    • Contingency Planning 
    • Lead and support regional, trans-regional, and crisis action planning efforts in support of 
    • GCCs and USFK SOF requirements Global Campaign Plan for SOF (CP GSO) 
    • Update the Synchronization related aspects of the Global Campaign Plan for SOF (CP GSO). 
    • Global Special Operations Synchronization Process (GSOS) 
    • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary. 




    • Graduated from a Joint Professional Military Education course, Intermediate Development Course or a Senior Professional Military Education Course 


    • Joint, SOF, Interagency, and Regional experience (minimum of 15 years, combined); Completed one Joint Staff, combatant command, or multi-national staff tour; Military or DoD experience working with intelligence, special operations, Inter-Agencies        


    • TS/SCI 

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:   

    • Knowledge and experience with joint military operations to include special operations conducted in joint, combined, and interagency environments 
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing 
    • Ability to meet and deal effectively with others 
    • Ability to analyze facts and problem issues, and develop alternative solutions and recommendations
